Remember this lady?
Well, as I mentioned below, my mom and I chatted with her and her hubs at the expo. Last night at the ahtlete dinner they has this short video on and her hubs was on it. Because he is the oldest athlete racing tomorrow! Holy crap! 81 years old!
Ok - off to hop in the chilly gulf for a morning swim.
I want to be like them when I grow up!
Huge Props! I hope she does AWESOME! Stay warm down there and please give Heidi a big good luck hug for me when you see her!!
Have a super Ironman day! Can't wait to read about it.
She reminds me of Harriet and the Iron Nun from all the NBC Kona specials. I really hope I can still be doing this sport at their age.
"Hey, wanna see Grandpa do an Ironman"
Seriously, how cool does that sound.
HAVE A GREAT IRON-DAY! :)
I have no doubt you will KILL that course! Enjoy every second and have a blast! Remember--just keep moving forward. That's all the advice you'll need. :)
Hey, where are my homemade power bars?? I talked to both number 1 oldest (Frank) and no. 2 oldest at the dinner and at my condo.
That is so awesome! I hope I'm still racing when I'm that age!
Um. Holy crap. She is awesome.
My longest-term triathlon goal is to be the Kona AG champ at 80.
absolutely inspiring. Enjoy the race this weekend and you are going to do great.
