81 Years Young

Remember this lady?
Well, as I mentioned below, my mom and I chatted with her and her hubs at the expo.  Last night at the ahtlete dinner they has this short video on and her hubs was on it.  Because he is the oldest athlete racing tomorrow!  Holy crap!  81 years old!

Ok - off to hop in the chilly gulf for a morning swim.

She reminds me of Harriet and the Iron Nun from all the NBC Kona specials. I really hope I can still be doing this sport at their age.

"Hey, wanna see Grandpa do an Ironman"

Seriously, how cool does that sound.

I have no doubt you will KILL that course! Enjoy every second and have a blast! Remember--just keep moving forward. That's all the advice you'll need. :)

Um. Holy crap. She is awesome.

My longest-term triathlon goal is to be the Kona AG champ at 80.
