Run Across America!

As I've mentioned before - the amazing REV3 crew is RUNNING ACROSS AMERICA to raise money for the Ulman Foundation.  Follow this amazing adventure here.  And if you can - donate some funds.  It's for an amazing foundation which will help so many.

Last weekend Heidi and I had a KILLER training 'camp' here in spring break capital of the world.  Panama City Beach.  Photos and a post to come!

Happy hump day!

Best water bottle storage idea ever?

I think so! Shoe holder as a water bottle holder - who would have thought!

Times are a changing

These were my plans for 2012:
IMTX
Wedding
Buy a house
Get a dog
(In that order)
Not too boring of a year...to put it lightly.  :)

Well, things have changed.  As I mentioned in a previous post, Big J and I purchased a house. And....now we have one of these:

This is Stella - and she is the sweetest puppy anyone could ask for!

But with all of these major activities going on in my life - and a full time job which requires 120% of me every day (which I love) I have to drop something.  I was just spread to thin and I don't like to do anything half ass.   So IMTX is now off of my list of races this year.  Training for an Ironman is pretty much a full time job - and there are way too many other awesome things in my life going on right now.  But on the bright side I'll be doing more local, shorter races (which I'm totally pumped about) and not to forget REV3 in October!

And in spring break news!

Really spring breakers?  Way to be awesome.  I hope you all have a massive hang over!

Thankfully Heidi and I will be having an adult spring break - which will be full of awesome training rides, open water swims, and great runs!  Can't wait!

Spring break tip

Don't fall asleep while doing yoga. In an elevator. At 6am. :)

Blogging from the trainer

Due to the random crap weather I'm stuck on the trainer. Again. For 6 fing hours. Thank god for Netflix - and my iPhone. As well as other rev3 teammates chatting on twitter doing the exact same thing :). Twitter motivation is the key to long rides like this!

Times like this you have to dig deep and remember the big picture! It's all worth it at the end!

Packing

It's tough watching someone else do it :)

Today is the day!

REV3 Florida is open for registration!  This is going to be a fantastic late season race (hello - perfect blue gulf waters!?!)  Not to mention - this will be the first Rev3 race ever in the Sunshine State!

Also - yesterday was a pretty big day for Big J and I.  We are officially homeowners.  I have my big girl pants on!
