My sister posted this:
on my facebook page the other day. She is awesome and I love her so much. Just wanted to share.
Random Thoughts:
- I know it's been a while since I've posted, but IM took it all out of me. All of the training and build up to the race just of pushed me away from blogging. Now I guess I'm in that 'down' mental state that effects so many people after an IM.
- BUT I did sign up for the Tallahassee Marathon in Feb, so I'll start posting more often again real soon. So just bare with me. :)
- We thought our landlord was putting our condo on the market - and I HATE moving. But today - we found out he's not. Awesome.
- What are you suppose to do after an IM? What did you do the few weeks after your race?
- Organizing the closets/spare room are on my list this weekend instead of a 6 hour bike ride. I would much rather have the bike ride this weekend.

Nice post from your sister. As for post IM schedule, go fishing, stay out late (but not on the night before fishing), clean that closet, enjoy the holidays, and go for a ride just for fun. You've earned the unscheduled leisure time.
What do you do after IM? Whatever the heck you want to do. Even if it does involve amounts of chocolate bigger than your head.
I'll tell you what you do after an IM: sign up for Boulder 70.3
Oh, and organizing a closet it best done with some wine, IMHO (InMyHonestOpinion...like that?)
Start a blog and tell the world about your experience.
WAIT, you already do that. Well just eat and drink your face off until christmas.
You could also sign up for my book giveaway.
I keep this article saved, because it never feels after some finishes an Ironman, this post comes up, I hope it helps

What do you do after an Ironman? Simplify the process so nothing changes...
Cheers!!
I love the post from your sister!
Happy Thanksgiving!
i'm soooo fff-ing bored right now. I just switched clinical rotations and my new one is slow and sucks. I'm ready to blow my brains out. Since IM FL, I've swam about 4 times and biked and ran twice. My legs still feel like crap when I run. Since the race, I've cleaned out a closet and a filing cabinet, cleaned my house, and am probably going to start doing hot yoga. I've tried watching tv but it doesn't really interest me and I feel so LAZY. Sorry this is so negative but I'm going through the same thing!
I start training Dec 27th- so that is something to look forward to. Anyway hope your holidays are awesome !!!!
Amazing. You and Heidi are in the exact same boat. The closet is a good idea though - I've been having Heidi wash cars and paint fences, she's like the karate kid!
