So ever since my back issue - I have not eaten any fast food. At all. Except for subway - but that does not count in my mind. Anyway - whenever I eat out of whack, my body gets very mad at me. For example, yesterday I had a migraine and threw up, yep, puked. Multible times. And I really believe it's due to my diet. I was not able to eat every two hours our eat my usual amount of fruits and veggies the day before. I know it was bad planning on my part, but sometimes you can't control your environment. And I guess my body is very sensitive - or possibly getting more sensitive - to what I fuel it with. Does anyone else fell that way - or am I crazy?
I just like my body to feel good and be happy - and I hate not feeling 100000%!

My name is Katie and I've been reading your blog for a long time :) You really inspire me and I am SO jealous of your locale. I live in Seattle where it rains 99% of the year and my training has to accommodate.
I am commenting on your blog today because YOU ARE NOT CRAZY! Every bit of my performance in training, at work and in my life is affected by how and what I eat. I will get in bad grooves where all I eat is rich and bad-for-me things...it can be so hard to break out of a cycle. I LOVE SWEETS!
Keep up the good work!
Absolutely! Especially when I travel and go back home to Ohio. My family is so bad about fruits and vegs and I always feel like poop after that.
Yikes. Hopefully that migrane went away quickly.
Your not crazy, what I eat is how I feel for the day
not crazy even in the slightest, my body freaks out if i have a high sugar or greasy day. ugh.
It took me many years to realize that what I was eating was what was making me feel bad. I am a slow learner. You are not crazy.
Definitely, and I think the older we get, the more sensitive our bodies our. It stinks when situations out of our control don't allow for the healthy meal. Last night I could either go without dinner or have a peice of Little Ceaser's pizza. I am morally opposed to that pizza, but I also knew I had a 4:30 wake up call for a spin class and skipping was worse than the garbage I ate. I survived. But the whole time I was wishing I would have had a different option.
Around 32/33 that was when it really hit me, so no you aren't crazy, if I eat bad, my body rebels. I sometimes have to make slight changes to training schedule based on parties or say no to the food, make sure I eat ahead of time, and plan, plan, plan,...sucks getting older.
I DEFINITELY know what you mean - my body feels gross when I eat fried/processed foods, and sometimes I get sick. Unfortunately, I eat almost every meal at restaurants now (thanks to my job that has me traveling). I try to pick the healthiest options on the menu, but whne I don't, I totally feel it.
