4am Saturday Morning

Back in the day when I lived in Kansas City - the bars stayed open until 3am. We would drink and dance until they kicked us out - then it was off in a cab (ahh..I love cab drivers) to a 24 hour McDonalds for some McGoodness. Oh how times have changed. Big J and I where up at 4am this morning - him for a fishing charter, and me to meet up for a 5:30am ride.

I headed over to Bruce to meet up with Missy, Lisa, Cindy, Wendy, and Al. Our one and old male on this ride. Missy and Lisa are training for IMKY - so the long weekend rides for them are in full force. And for those of you that live in the South - the earlier you start, the better off you are for not dying of heat stroke. We got in an amazing 45 mile ride through the rolling hills of North Walton County. The weather was perfect and the pace was spot on. Myself along with Wendy and Cindy pulled off while the rest of 'team estrogen' + one husband rocked out an 80 miler.

So the rest of my Saturday is going to be dedicated on figuring out Training Peaks :) whoohoo! First thing on the list - figure out how to down load runs off of my Garmin.

Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

Oh how I love the Pacific NW ;) How times have chaged. YES!!

Sounds like a good ride. So are you racing anything anytime soon? Last I heard, you hadn't really been training for anything.

Hilarious about the old days in KC. And by "hilarious" I mean "good ol days." That lifestyle, while definitely not productive and lead to fat behavior, sure was fun!!! Great ride, awesome pix!
